In recognition of Indian Arrival day dated 30th May 2022 in the Tropical Island of Trinidad and Tobago, we would like to recognize and celebrate with one of our country's outstanding Teacher a true role model and leader Mr. Anthony Ramjit. He is a School Supervisor 11 with the Ministry of Education.
His TEACHING CAREER:
Assistant Teacher Primary..Jordan Hill Presbyterian..6th September 1982.
Mr. Ramjit had short stints at other schools before attending Teachers’ College.
Piparo, Ecclesville, Milton, Bonne Aventure, Riversdale...all Presbyterian schools.
He went to Corinth Teachers’ College from September 1985 to July 1987.
Then, his career spanned the following:
T1..Tabaquite Presbyterian..1987 to 1994.
Bonne Aventure..1994 to 2003
Principal Primary..July 2003 to August 2008..Jordan Hill Presbyterian
School Supervisor 1..St. Patrick District..September 2008 to February 2014

His CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS:
Finalist.. Teacher of the Year 1998
Represented MOE at interviews for administrative positions (record for conducting most interviews)
Conducted some of the most high profile investigations (Regulation 90) on behalf of the Teaching Service Commission & MOE
Represented the MOE at meetings with the Teaching Service Commission
Highly considered as one of the best Common Entrance/SEA teacher during his teaching days
Represented MOE at numerous functions and events
Introduced many initiatives as School Supervisor including:
Monthly performance tracking record
Projects to assist in the teaching/learning process-The Water Conservation Project, St. Patrick Education District’s Environmental Project
Sat on various committees to represent the views of School Supervision
Under his stewardship as SS11, the St. Patrick Education District got 1st place in the SEA examination twice Involvement in other educational organizations

National Primary Schools Cricket League..President..2005 to 2009
PRO..Public Relations Officer 2009 to 2012
Under his stewardship as President, he initiated the first national primary schools cricket league tour to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. From then, other tours were organized to Barbados and Guyana.
Many players from these teams went on to make National Age Group Teams.

ACHIEVEMENTS: Most successful National Age Group Manager 2007: Caribbean Champions ( National Under 13 Title)..St. Kitts & Nevis 2013 & 2016 Manager of the Trinidad and Tobago National Under 15 that won the Caribbean Championship Nominated by the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board as their Manager of the Year 2013 Finalist for Manager of the Year by the Ministry of Sports Supporter of all sporting disciplines and a strong advocate for Physical Education and Sports in schools Also contributed to the infamous PJ Patterson Report Credited for bringing about significant changes to management of National Youth Cricket Teams around the region National Primary Schools Principals’ Association Chairman of the South Eastern Education District Principals’ Association...2004 to 2008 Involved in radio and television sports shows between 2009 and 2017 Sports Buzz on 101.7 FM (co-host) The Cricket and Football Show (one of the longest running sports talk show on National television: WIN TV, WE Sport, Synergy, Jagritti Contribution to the Presbyterian church in T & T Member and present treasurer of the local board of the St. George’s Presbyterian Church (Williamsville) Past elder, once considered to be the youngest Chairman of the Local Board of a Presbyterian Church in T & T Past representative to many boards and courts within the church Synod of the Presbyterian Church of T & T Served on the Board of Christian Education..Official Board/Session of the Riversdale Pastoral Region Coordinator of Sports with the region for four years PHILOSOPHY: Where there is no path, create your own.
