Before Tomorrow Steals Us
What if tomorrow comes,
And my voice is gone—
No poems left to reach you,
No messages to remind you I care?
What if tomorrow comes,
And the silence is all you hear,
No footsteps, no laughter,
No reply to your call?
Time is merciless,
It waits for no one.
Every breath could be the last,
Every heartbeat a fragile gift.
So tonight, I choose to speak,
To lay my soul in your hands.
I don’t want to leave this unsaid:
I love you, endlessly,
And if tomorrow takes me away,
Let today be the proof
That I was yours.
Quote
The truest proposal is not a promise of forever, but the courage to love fully before tomorrow takes its chance away.
