The Measure of a Soul
Respect is not a fleeting word,
Nor borrowed praise that’s cheaply heard.
It lives in choices, day by day,
In how we walk, in what we say.
It shines when tempers learn restraint,
When patience paints the heart as saint.
It grows in silence, calm and deep,
In promises we choose to keep.
Character is the quiet flame,
That burns without the need for fame.
It does not boast, it does not bend,
It stands with truth until the end.
Respect is earned, not forced by might,
It dwells in deeds that honor right.
It bows to none, yet lifts us high,
A noble gift that does not die.
So let your soul be measured true,
By how you give, not what you do.
For in the mirror of respect,
The world sees love, and none neglect.

Respect is the quiet language of character, spoken without pride, yet heard by all.

The Weight of Two Roads
In loss, the silence cuts so deep,
A hollow ache the heart must keep.
Memories linger, sharp yet kind,
A tender wound etched in the mind.
In success, the climb is steep,
Each triumph bought with nights of sleep.
The crown is heavy, joy restrained,
For every gain, a scar is gained.
Two roads diverge, yet both the same,
Each paved with struggle, each with flame.
Pain is the teacher, stern yet true,
It carry the soul, and carries you.

Pain wears many faces—one in loss, one in triumph—but each is a doorway to growth.
