Whispers of Yesterday
In silence, I stand, where shadows roam,
A heart once full, now an empty home.
The loss of love, a weight I bear,
A grief so deep, it's hard to share.
Tears fall like rain, as memories flood,
Moments we shared, now lost in the mud.
I search for solace, a guiding light,
To navigate the darkness of endless night.
But even in sorrow, there's a glimmer of hope,
A chance to find strength, to learn to cope.
Memories of joy, of laughter and tears,
Remind me of love, of all the happy years.
Don't let the past be the thief of today,
Stealing moments, stealing life away.
Live in the present, let go of the pain,
Find solace in memories, but don't remain.
The past is gone, we can't turn back time,
But we can find hope, in the beauty that's divine.
Let memories be a bridge to the future bright,
A reminder of love, that shone with all its might.
In the present, I find my way,
A new path unfolds, a brighter day.
I'll hold on to memories, but not dwell,
For in letting go, I'll find a way to heal.
Though you're gone, your love remains,
A flame that burns, a love that sustains.
I'll carry it with me, through every test,
And find the strength, to do my best.
So let the memories guide me through,
And give me hope, for better times anew.
I'll live in the present, and look to the future bright,
And find solace, in the love that shone so light.
