Watchful Eyes
I feel his presence, though far apart
His gaze upon me, a constant heart
Not just a glance, but a searching stare
As if he knows me, beyond compare
Though I try to hide, to be unseen
His eyes find me, like a gentle beam
Following my path, wherever I roam
Seeking me out, to call me home
In crowded spaces, or empty space
I feel his presence, a gentle pace
A knowing look, that sees right through
A connection deep, that forever true
His eyes on mine, a sense of peace
A feeling seen, a soul released
Though distance lies, between us two
His watchful eyes, forever see me true.
