The Untouched Beauty
Sometimes you have to
Leave beauty where it is
Untouched, unspoiled.
Some things are better left alone.
See it, don't touch it,
Want it, don't take it.
In nature’s gentle sound,
In the quiet of the dawn.
There lies a sacred moment,
That fades when it is gone.
A flower in the meadow,
A bird upon the wing.
Their beauty in the being,
Not captured, but in spring.
The moonlight on the water,
A star that shines afar.
Their magic in the distance,
Untouched by who we are.
To cherish is to honor,
The space that beauty needs.
To let it live its purpose,
Untethered, wild, and free.
For sometimes in our reaching,
We lose what we adore,
So leave the beauty where it is,
And love it all the more.
