The Silent Struggle

The Silent Struggle

Whoever understands,

Whoever knows,

Whoever takes the time,

Who cares anyway?

The caregiver,

Suffers too.

They face pain,

They grieve too.

Everyone wants to say

What to do or don’t do.

But have they ever wondered

What the caregiver goes through?

Day after day,

Night after night,

No sleep, no rest,

No time at all.

Challenges faced,

Tears fall, anxiety builds up,

Pain and suffering inside,

To see their loved one suffer.

It’s sad, no compromise,

No understanding and care.

Respect caregivers, show compassion,

Without them, where would you be?
