A great lesson

To learn early in life,

Sooner or later,

You will learn it.

It's the best lesson to know—

Life is great, but it can be greater.

There is always room for growth,

For change, for something better.

So stay away from

The negative minds,

The jealous hearts,

And the restless souls.

Stay away from those

Who speak ill of others,

For they will do the same to you

When you turn your back.

Walk with wisdom,

Surround yourself with light,

And let your spirit rise

Above the shadows of doubt.
