Shattered Dreams
A moment's glance, a lifetime's pain
A crash, a sound, a life in vain
The vehicle lies in pieces, a tragic sight
Beyond recognition, a heartbreaking plight
She gathers her strength, but it's hard to bear
The weight of loss, the tears she can't share
She tries to hold back, but they fall like rain
As she bawls out, her heart in pain
Life so precious, yet lost in a second
A future bright, gone, forever to mourn
A son taken away, a mother's cry
Echoes of what could've been, a sorrowful sigh
The impact was fatal, no time to prepare
A life cut short, leaving only despair
Memories of what was, a bittersweet refrain
A heart shattered, a soul in pain
In the aftermath, she's left to grieve
A loss so profound, a wound that won't leave
She'll hold on to memories, of laughter and tears
But the pain of losing him, will last for years.
