Pure Hearts

Pure Hearts

It was a strange encounter,

We met by chance,

Our eyes connected,

There was something magical.

The smiles were amazing,

Conversation flowed,

We chatted for long,

Time never seemed enough.

Two strangers meeting for the first time,

Feeling as if they knew each other forever,

They talked, they laughed,

They joked a lot.

They grew to like each other,

A lot over time,

They fell in love, being happy

In each other’s company.

Then time grew still,

They went separate ways,

Longing for each other,

Wanting to be together.

They missed each other,

And feeling sad so,

Longing to meet again,

They stayed in contact.
