Navigating Troubled Waters

Navigating Troubled Waters

A new dawn breaks, a new day's birth,

Blessed are those who've weathered the night's dark earth.

The dead rest peacefully, their journey's end,

While the living must find strength to transcend.

In a world that's troubled, where shadows roam,

Be humble, be kind, and let judgment cease to be.

For in our critique, we're often blind to our own flaws,

And a silent tongue can be our greatest law.

We look but don't see, we hear but don't understand,

We know but don't speak, in this complex land.

To navigate its waters, we must sometimes play

Blind and deaf and dumb, to preserve the day.

The world is bitter, its troubles hard to shake,

But in the stillness, wisdom we can make.

Be mindful of those around, of every step you take,

In your own home, with loved ones, for your own sake.

Keep open eyes, yet know when to be discreet,

Keep open ears, to hear the unspoken beat.

And though your voice may yearn to speak its mind,

A silent tongue can be your greatest ally in troubled times.

Quote:

In the art of living, we must learn to balance seeing and not seeing, hearing and not hearing, speaking and remaining silent. For in this delicate dance, we find the wisdom to navigate the complexities of our world.
