Moments
In the night when the day is done,
And all has left and gone,
You dwell in your past,
While you stumble through the future.
Each day, a decision is made
To wake up and get moving.
Another day has come,
While another has gone.
Memories cling like morning dew,
Fragile in the dawn’s soft light,
Yet shadows of the future loom,
In dreams that take the night.
Moments whisper through the dark,
Echoes of what’s yet to be,
Time slips away so fast,
Toward an unseen moment.
Choices cast like stones in streams,
Ripples touch both near and far,
Guiding us through fleeting dreams,
Beneath the evening star.
In the quiet, hearts will mend,
From scars of yesteryears,
Finding strength as nights extend,
To conquer silent fears.
So embrace each dawn with grace,
And welcome every day,
For in the dance of time and space,
We find our guiding light.
