Let Go of Envy's Chains

Don't waste your time on jealousy's sting,

Dwelling on others, their lives to bring

To your comparison, a futile test,

You don't know the sacrifices they've possessed.

Their journey's path, with trials unseen,

Led them to where they now are gleaned,

Don't cheat yourself of future's light,

By living in the past, devoid of might.

Everyone strives for peace and harmony,

While some dwell in what's beyond their symphony,

Let go of envy, and the chains that bind,

Move forward, leave the past behind.

Time is uncertain, fleeting like sand,

No one's here forever, in this land,

Strive for peace, for love, for what's true,

And let go of envy, to find your cue.

In harmony, you'll find your way,

Free from the past, in a brighter day,

So let go, move on, and live in peace,

And find your strength, your heart's release.
