In the Space You Hold

In the Space You Hold

In the space you hold, I find a place to breathe

A silence where the noise of the world retreats

It’s not the words said, but the silences shared

Where the weight of my heart, is gently laid bare

In your presence, the fragments start to align

Like lost pieces of myself, suddenly made to shine

You see the parts I hide, you touch the places I fear

And in that tender knowing, I become less alone, more clear

You hold the threads of my unraveling and my strength

In your gaze, my true self starts to length

No judgment, no mask, just a heartbeat in sync

In the space you create, my soul starts to think

That maybe I’m enough, maybe I’m loved as I am

Maybe the broken parts, are the places love does its work in

In the space you hold, I find a place to be

A place to stumble, to rise, to simply be me.

Quote:

In the hollow of your hands, lies the space where my soul finds home.
