Forgiveness and Flight

Let go of the past, its weight so strong

Forgiveness whispers, and the heart moves on

Memories linger, but pain subsides

As we release the burdens, we cannot hide

Like autumn leaves, we shed our pain

And in the spring, new life remains

The future beckons, bright and wide

A chance to heal, to step inside

With every step, we leave the past

And find solace in the present at last

The road ahead, a journey new

A chance to rediscover, to renew

In forgiveness, we find peace of mind

A sense of freedom, we leave behind

The weight of grudges, the sting of shame

And find solace in a brand new flame

So let us spread our wings and fly

Embracing the future, with a heart full of sighs

For in forgiveness, we find our way

To heal, to love, and to seize the day.
