Echoes of Silence
In the hush of silence, whispers fade
A lingering gaze, a final shade
Questions swirl, like autumn leaves
Answers lost, in endless grief
They look, they stare, yet don't see
The pain that grips, the heart that's free
Whispers everywhere, a haunting sigh
How, where, when, why, the questions cry
No answers come, only shadows play
Assumptions and guesses, a futile sway
Who knows when, who knows why
The weight of grief, a lonely sky
Our last goodbye, a final breath
No choice, no option, but to accept death
Time on earth, a fleeting dream
Once filled with hope, now an empty scheme
Dreams and ambitions, lost in the past
Emptiness fills the heart, a hollow cast
Tears fall like rain, a deluge of pain
Yet, still we bid farewell, in vain
But even in silence, memories remain
A bittersweet reminder of love and pain
So let us hold on to what's dear
And cherish the moments, fleeting and clear.
Quote:
In the depths of silence, echoes of memories remain, a bittersweet reminder of what's lost and what's gained.
