Black History Month

Black History Month

In the tapestry of time, a history unfolds,

Bold stories of resilience, and courage it holds.

Black voices rise, like a powerful song,

Echoes through the ages, forever strong.

From ancient roots to modern days,

Trailblazers' footsteps light up the way.

Harriet's Underground, a freedom line,

A beacon of hope, in darkness they shine.

Martin's dream, a vision so grand,

A call for justice, across the land.

Rosa on the bus, a simple seat,

Igniting change, a victory sweet.

Maya's words, a poetic grace,

A rainbow of hues, the human race.

Langston's Harlem, a Renaissance reborn,

Artistic brilliance, a culture adorned.

So let's celebrate, this Black History Month,

The legacy, the triumph, the courage to confront.

A mosaic of stories, woven in time,

In unity, strength, and resilience, they climb.
