Behind the Face
They judge you harshly, without a care
Their words cut deep, but they don't know you there
They criticize your flaws, your every move
But they don't know the battles you've learned to improve
They stare at you, with eyes so cold
Making assumptions, stories untold
They don't know your struggles, your fears, your dreams
But they'll judge you anyway, or so it seems
Their opinions weigh heavy, like chains on your soul
But don't let their ignorance take control
You are more than what they see
More than the surface, more than can be free
You are a universe, vast and deep
A world of thoughts, emotions, and secrets you keep
Don't let the critics define your worth
You are worthy, just as you are, on this earth
So hold your head high, and walk with pride
Knowing that you're more than what they hide
Behind the facade, they don't know you
But you know your truth, and that's all that matters, it's true.

Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice.
