Where Love Still Lives
I cried in the quiet,
Grief wrapped around my bones,
Memories like echoes—
Soft, relentless tones.
I saw your smile in shadows,
Heard your laugh in the breeze,
Held your warmth in silence,
Felt your love in the trees.
But time whispered gently,
“Don’t dwell in the past,”
Let go of the sorrow,
Set your spirit free at last.
I still have my moments,
Reflections that sting,
But I choose to keep walking,
To feel joy in spring.
You were my forever,
Now you’re my light within—
I live, I breathe, I rise,
And let peace begin.
Quote
Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting—it means choosing to live where love still lives, even after loss.
