The Quiet Flood
In her silence she watched,
She heard and she saw,
Her lips zipped,
Saying nothing.
Her pain hidden,
She swallowed herself
In her grief—
Something no one understood.
She didn’t dwell,
She didn’t pry,
She kept her peace,
She lived humble.
Her simplicity
Was admired,
No one knew her inner pain,
For all the teardrops—
She poured,
That drowned her,
That hid inside
Her loss, her grief.
Quote
Silence is not emptiness—it is the ocean where unseen storms rage, and only the heart knows how deep the waves run.
